The former owners of Yankee, a 1987 34-2 (Hull #57), were Paul and Judy Krietsch.  They bought Yankee from a dealer in LaSalle, Michigan. Yankee has a shoal draft keel which draws 4'-5". Paul served as Commodore of the Detroit Yacht Club (2008).  In the Fall, 2020, Heather Lockwood and Bob Clark purchased Yankee and motored & sailed her 350 miles home from Lake St. Clair to Traverse City, MI.  She performed magnificently.

Yankee is berthed at Suttons Bay Village Marina and frequently cruises all over the area including but not limited to: Omena Bay, Northport, Old Mission, Elk Rapids, Cathead Bay, South Fox Island, with plans for Beaver Island, The Manitous, Charlevoix, Boyne City, Harbor Springs, Mackinaw and Les Chensaux Islands. She rides her anchor like a champ and sails like a beast and frequently averages 6.5 knots over ground towing their dinghy. She's been very well cared for and Heather and Bob are working to keep her in beautiful shape.  They added a bow sprit to create more separation from Asym to Main and love racing to the next anchorage.
